Cooking with fire

Dinners and Classes

As a teenager, my uncle, Denis, began hosting Francis Mallmann-inspired feasts in his backyard for our whole family - this solidified a curiosity and desire in me to learn to cook, and got me inspired to cook with fires. In high school and college, I worked in cafes and coffee shops and gained an appreciation for service and for taking the time to make something as simple as a cup of coffee with attention and care.

I spent a few years learning on my own, with cookbooks, and by trial and error - until ultimately I made the jump into the world of restaurants. Over the years, I cooked on the wood-fired line at The Lost Fire, started as the original grill cook for the opening of Bread and Friends, and worked at Sammy’s Deluxe - one of the New York Times 50 Best Restaurants in America 2025.

Now, I offer a small, intimate wood-fired dinner club via Airbnb at my little cottage in Rockport, ME for locals and those staying nearby, and also teach a monthly wood-fired cooking class at Salt Water Farm in Lincolnville, ME. For a private dinner experience hosted at your residence, please contact me for additonal details!
