Landscape gardening

A natural approach

I started working in the landscape industry when I was just 11 or 12 years old - my grandfather owned a landscape company in Western Massachusetts and I excitedly picked up a shovel as soon as I could to help with the family business. Now, with over 10 years of experience and fully insured, I offer my independent services to Midcoast Maine - with garden maintenence, pruning, dry stone work, and small installations and designs. I also collaborate with others in the industry and have been involved with excellent landscape architects and designers such as GBR Landscapes, Carson Douglass, and spent a year apprenticing with Brian Fairfield.

I love an opportunity to establish low-maintenence, no-fuss gardens that fit naturally into their environments - I love rustic farm walls, vegetable and culinary herb gardens, fieldstone, wildflowers, and using native and naturalized plants where I can. I believe firmly that we don’t need overcomplicated designs and it’s often the simple things that make a garden special - perfectly imperfect, and ever-evolving.

Whether you’re a homeowner looking for a break from weeding, looking to add some value to your property with some garden overhauls, need to have a collapsed stone wall properly re-built - or even a fellow gardener or contractor looking for an extra push on your project, I hope we’ll be in touch.
